Gateway to Opportunity Resource Center
Computer skills, workplace soft-skills, resume development, job application, and other training events are offered in the drop-in Resource Center. Over 1500 visits are made to the Resource Center each year by program participants and community members.
Adult Job Placement
We provide one-on-one job counseling, employment leads, resume preparation, internet access, and interview coaching for Minneapolis residents, as well as limited transportation and clothing support. For more information, please contact:

Employment and Support for African Immigrants

Senior Community Service Employment Program
Established partnerships with employers and employment host sites enable us to place 30-40 client senior each year in subsidized employment. Seniors who want to re-enter the workforce due to a need for greater financial stability can also find opportunities through the program.
Youth Initiatives
Critical partnerships with companies, small business, and non-profit organizations give us the leverage to recruit, enroll, and provide workforce readiness training to high school youth during the summer. Interns are placed in learning and development opportunities in building and construction trades, health care and education sector, retailing, and social services throughout the year.
